We recognise every performance with scores, voice critiques, and meaningful awards—focusing on growth, confidence, and artistry.
Each performer receives a prize during the award ceremony, ensuring every dancer feels valued and celebrated. With a warm atmosphere and encouraging feedback, Star Dance Awards is where passion meets recognition—and every step on stage matters.

AWARDS
Competitors will be judged using a point system rather than competing directly against each other. Their scores will determine whether they receive one of the following prizes.
BRONZE
50 - 64.9
GOLD
85 - 94.9
SILVER
65 - 74.9
HIGH GOLD
95 - 99.9
HIGH SILVER
75 - 85.9
PLATINUM
100
This method of competition ensures that each participant has an equal chance to showcase their talents and receive recognition for their achievements on stage.
*Awards will be presented during the award ceremony.
If a competitor or studio is not present for a general award, a representative may collect the award.

NOT ONLY WILL COMPETITORS HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO SHOWCASE THEIR TALENTS, BUT THEY WILL ALSO BE IN THE RUNNING FOR NUMEROUS JUDGES' CHOICE AWARDS.

ACT for a major award for the Judges Star Award
A major award will be presented across each
age group/entry types for the following.
• CLASSICAL STAR
• JAZZ STAR
• THEATRICAL STAR
• TAP STAR
• HIP HOP STAR
• LYRICAL STAR
• VOCAL STAR

Competitor must be present at the award ceremony to receive a major award.
Major awards age groups may be combined if the minimum requirements are not met.
If a judge does not select an act for a Major Award, the award will be forfeited as the selection is solely up to the judge.
