Starz LIVE runs under the official ITC judging format.
Competitors are assessed individually against a point system (similar to an exam style) This ensures every performance is recognised on its own merit.
But there’s a twist — the audience gets to join in on the action!
Audience will have the opportunity to VOTE LIVE for their favourite performance in THE ULTIMATE DANCE OFF!

Each competitor will receive a score which will determine one of the following award.

The following entries are automatically in the running for a TITLE award.
DUO/TRIO/QUAD TITLE AWARDS
Duo, Trio & Quad competitors will be combined and divided into age divisions for TITLE awards.

Soloists won’t compete for TITLE awards — instead, they’ll be battling it out for a spot in THE ULTIMATE DANCE OFF
QUALIFYING FOR
THE DANCE OFF
Soloist competitors with the highest combined scores from their
TOP 5 routines will qualify to advance to THE DANCE OFF session at the end of the night.
*Competitors with more than 5 routines, only their 5 highest-scoring routines will be counted toward their final total score. The additional solo entries will go towards the ROYAL MONARCH AWARD

Royal Monarch Award
Following the Grand Finale TOP 10 announcement,
the following titles will be revealed

The Official Prince/Princess will be crowned
The Official Queen/King of STARZ LIVE will be anointed
WHO WILL
BE CROWNED
The Royal Monarch Award will be presented to the soloist with the HIGHEST TOTAL points accumulated throughout the ENTIRE COMPETITION.

POINTS ACCUMULATED
All solo entries a competitor has performed at the event, as well as the points earned from LIVE VOTES will go towards the final TOTAL SCORE.

*If a competitor has entered more than 5 routines, all of their routines scores will be included in the overall total.
Who will walk down the
RED CARPET as this year’s
MONARCH
The Starz Live Monarch will be anointed on stage and will receive:
A TIARA OR CROWN
A PAGEANT SASH
A ROYAL SCEPTRE
A ROYAL CAPE
A TROPHY FIT FOR THE ROYALS
THE ULTIMATE DANCE OFF
At the end of the session, the TOP 10 DANCERS will be decided and invited to compete in THE DANCE OFF​
The exclusive invitations will be presented on stage during the award ceremony.
Invited competitors will proceed backstage to receive unique identification numbers to identify them to the audience to cast their votes.
Following THE DANCE OFF, the votes will be tallied, and the competitors will be announced by rank on stage!

Competing in THE DANCE OFF will be the following age divisions.
• MINI • PRIMARY • JUNIOR • TEEN • SENIOR • OPEN • GOLDEN

The Red Carpet Award ceremonies will recognise the
TOP 5 SOLOIST from the Petite age division, as this age group will not participate in the improvisation segment.

THE ULTIMATE DANCE OFF will be a $15.00 Ticketed Event for all guests.
Further information will be provided once entries have closed and the
draft running order has been released.
